WE had some more fun today. I think our co-workers are starting to wonder where we are disappearing to, for the brief moments we are gone. Rogan for GO International designed my wonderful pencil skirt that I found with brooke yesterday. We got pretty darn lost trying to take a "faster" route to Target, and, um let's just say that I have zero sense of direction. My light sweater was a SALE find at the GAP, and my delicious short-heeled half-backs, I picked up from a little shop in Florence, Itlay. And brooke of course is wearing like all vintage pieces, as usual. So day 2 turned out to be quite entertaining, wouldn't you agree?

twin-fit-week
MY co-worker/roommate/fellow-blogger Brookie B., over at sohotsofresh and I have lots of fun at work, together. Especially when we show up matching! We have kind of come to this conclusion: we usually end up matching in one way or another. So we decided to snap some pics while we were at it. Hey, when you're locked inside of a lab, day after day, you start to find ways to entertain yo-self. But, like, please don't tell our boss.

is it just me, or did stephanie meyer's write a book on my life? i was telling spencer today (yes we were talking about something other than white-out, for once), that i am going anti-social. and i am. this is my life, everyday: i wake up, go to work, come home, and if no one is home, i go for a run. then i climb into bed and inevitably fall asleep reading. no mexico, no montana, just me and an ocean of pillows and blankets. excepting the late night sushi run the other evening, that's pretty much what i do. luckily, in books, i am able to transport myself to somewhere else, be someone else, feel the hurt and pain that doesn't belong to me. Gutenberg, to you i owe my sanity. and to photoshop.

if any of you know how much i love birthdays (besides this year's uneventful bash), this is the girl who taught me to. in 8th grade we planned a surprise birthday for two of my friends. we ordered a limousine to pick us up in front of the school, and headed to Bullwinkle's--a miniature golf course that was freaking off the hook (to us, at that age, anyways). we stayed there til we were all worn out and very full, before we rode our limousine back school. i love her for this memory and a thousand more. happy birthday emowlio!
