i like...family.

I like my family. My Auntie Ha from New York gave me and my brothers Vietnamese names for Christmas. Mine is "A Tran". You say it like "ah-truhn". It means "pearl from asia". I like it. My brother's all got cool Viet names too, but mine is the best. It is! Ask auntie. Right now I'm at my Aunt Rachel's house. She's my mom's sister. She fed us delicious homeade chicken noodle soup, with spetzle noodles. I like her because she always lets us invade her home and devour her food. She also cooks really, really good food. She cares a lot about her children, and that is something I admire. I also like Idaho. It's cold, and snowy, and inconvenient, but looking out the window right now makes up for all that. I wish Megan would come up to Idaho. Her family doesn't always appreciate the jewel that they have, and I hope that sometime soon they will wisen up. Until then, if she'll have us, she will be a part of our family. Even though we are crazy and mixed up, we want her here with us. I like my family.
