it snowed today. and i went to work. the trees on campus were thick with frost, and the ground melted faster than my suede boots would like. when its wintry and cold outside, i actually like to be outdoors, walking around with my head phones in, listening to my snowboarding playlist from freshman year. hhumph. my eyes are tired, and my body is weary. something that is cheering me up, tho, are these beautiful poinsettias at my work. they are, in fact, REAL. i adore real plants, they're living and breathing and beautiful. i am talking to megan duff on the phone right now and she just said "..sex with socks on!" & i laughed very hard. what is she learning at those bridal showers? showers. i took one this morning. it was one of those mornings when the house was dark and chilly, and my body was too exhausted to think, so i soaked in the shower and let the hot water pour over me for a looonngg time. well. i hope you are not imagining me in the shower right now.
i just want to...um, disappear. for now.

listen... I agree with missy that you are beautiful. Bt when I was talking to you about that... I didn't think you would actually put that out there in the blogosphere..... wow. weird though, socks? anyways, I love hot showers in the winter and I love snow and I love you!
